The project
Gorrión ecoturismo is a project committed to the conservation and promotion of Extremadura's natural heritage, with roots as strong and deep as those that sustain the holm oaks and cork oaks of our dehesas.
We are committed to tourism as a platform for scientific and nature outreach, adhering to a strict code of ethics to ensure that our activities are carried out in a manner that respects the environment that hosts them.
About us
Marcos Torres is the promoter of this project. Born in Malpartida de Plasencia and resident in the city of Plasencia, he embarked on this journey after years of working for other companies in the tourism and audiovisual sector. Curious by nature and a naturalist by vocation, he decided to stay and put down roots in the land where he was born.
A nature guide and budding environmentalist, he knows that there is always something new to discover, which encourages him to investigate and continue learning.
We are aware that you only take care of what you love, which is why we want to raise awareness about the territory we love so that, together, we can preserve it.
