On the 4×4 Valle del Jerte route we will make a tour accompanied by local expert guides through the wonderful Jerte Valley. We will enjoy the sunset from one of the privileged balconies of this wonderful environment.

• One of the three most impressive waterfalls in the Jerte Valley (Caozo, Calderón or Marta).
• Chestnut forests with centenary trees.
• Extraordinary viewpoints such as the San Bernabé threshing floor.
• Cherry growing areas (incredible in flowering season).
• Villages full of charm and history.
• Mountain landscapes.

What species can be observed?

Although this is an eminently scenic and interpretative route, without observation (especially of wildlife) being the main objective, the enormous biodiversity of this environment usually comes our way and it is not uncommon to come across:

• Golden eagle (all year round)
• Griffon vulture (all year round)
• Booted and short-toed eagles (spring and summer)
• Common buzzard (all year round)
• Dipper (all year round)
• Different orchid species
• Different species of dragonflies and damselflies
